Don't agree with the LLM story. They absolutely train by vacuuming up large amounts of copywritten work to build the training sets. I think there is a conversation to be had around our currently copyright law. But I think to call anyone who thinks creators rights should be protected Luddites is a bit much. More over I think we really need to think about how much power these systems consume. OpenAI uses as much power as a country for what in my opinion is not great results. Do we really need to accelerate global warming summarizing text? Great show otherwise, but would love to see someone in the tech industry come on when you guys do tech stories.

They* did get a different disney show about lesbian witches cancelled last year...one far more deeply beloved than the Acolyte could ever be. So...who knows... (haven't seen the acolyte but assuming it's something nightsister related well...they aren't exactly new to star wars canon either, hell they were in the last live action show they did) *well...probably not 38 moms...but right wing backlash in general. God forbid we have adorable lesbians in our cartoons...the horror.

Biden has done nothing to stop the March of fascism in this country in MO,TX,etc.. what do you think voting for him is going to do? Vote local, vote for the legislative candidates,and get your body armor and firearm training. Biden isn't saving anyone, and has demonstrably been worse than Trump for many sections of the population. To say he's the only choice is thoroughly ignorant of so many people in this nation. You're the people who will blame students, leftists, Palestinians,etc. when the clearly incapable Biden loses in November. Set up mutual aid groups, and get first aid training, but the fascists on deck have shown themselves to be cowardly,ignorant dipshits. Don't be a typical liberals, and fear this loud mouth bigots. This is a time to destroy this horrendous country of oppression and racist restrictions, Biden has shown he will only continue that trend. If you think putting the inevitable off for four years is really an achievement, I don't think you're actually paying attention.
