2024-11-07 17:27:55 +0000 UTCAs a "blue collar disaffected white dude" I can firmly say nothing my "peers" cared about during this election cycle had anything to do with workers issues or the economy, it has in fact been about hate for most of them the whole time. Logical conversation supported with fact about workers issues and the economy in support of voting for a democratic candidate is met with hateful responses and threats. I am fully heartbroken to count myself amongst the working class. I am fully heartbroken that an entire demographic is duped by the rhetoric of people who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
