So the story about the Jesus cracker falling on the floor reminded me of a Mexican saying. When food falls on the floor we tell kids not to eat it because "lo beso el diablo" which translates to "the devil kissed it".

2025-04-04 13:31:37 +0000 UTCSo... my dad has stated to me in the last that "alzheimers is just type 3 diabetes" and I genuinely felt my eyes rolling like dice at a craps table because I've never been able to get my dad to source any of his claims, except for one from the Epoch Times, about how Covid vaccines killed more people than Covid ever did... Sometimes, it just sucks when you realize your parents are people too, and the hero you grew up hearing was the smartest person in the family fell for the woo shit like this (and that fasting somehow cures things like hip impingement and nerve damage) is just a crackpot...
