Sorry, Heath, but I'm obligated to correct your math because you're off by 3 orders of magnitude on the volume of gold. 260,000m^3 of gold at 19,300kg/m^3 is 5,018,000,000kg of gold. 5,018,000,000kg of gold is 5,018,000,000,000g of gold. (I think you missed this step) 5,018,000,000,000g of gold at 31.1g/troy oz is 161,350,480,000oz, which is much much more than the stated 147,300,000oz. So, 260,000m^3 of gold at today's price of $3327.70/oz would be $536,926,000,000,000. Almost $537 Trillion dollars. Which... Proves the Fed is a Ponzi Scheme or your math is off by a factor of 1000.
