Where did you hear you could see the lights in Florida? They hit the top of California. Barely from the images I saw. I don’t think you missed much? But I am with you. As the former VP of the South Bay Astronomical Society? I long to see them before I die. Love space and space nerd stuff. Also on my bucket list? To swim in crystal clear ocean water. Hawaii was a whole lot closer to that than here in So. Cal. But, still not quite there. One day! Edit: I stand corrected! Though… I’m having a little bit of trouble understanding how? I will presume we just aren’t quite as straight of a north/south line as a two dimensional map would have me believe? Which would mean I am kind of seeing our home in an entirely new way if that’s the case? Or, is there another explanation?
