I've been whacking away at this thing for a while. It's tricky! Bringing paintings together so that everything serves the composition is hard work, and because I don't know how to do it well, it involves a lot of fumbling.

The middle one was a dud and I totally bailed on it. Unfortunately the pens don't play the nicest with the paper, either, but it turned out alright at a distance.

This one took a while! It's an acrylic painting on a 16 by 20 inch board. They did go in there clothed! They're using it to protect their backsides from pointy rocks.

I like playing around with shape language and stylistic elements even though I'm not great at it. I'd LIKE to be able to work in that extremely exaggerated shape style but it's like black magic to me. The further I move from realism the worse it gets.
