Patreon sent me an email that they will not make this change in payment policy. The upfront price for each tier will remain the true price that it says.

For the patrons who renewed to the adjusted tiers
So I'm not sure why but patreon seems to have those who have gone to the new tier at the wrong cost.
If you were at the old (now deleted) 5.40 tier and renewed the to adjusted 6.00 tier it for some reason patreon shows me that you're contributing 6.40. Perhaps it's a temporary glitch that will fix...
