I just realized there is one thing in the US where the price listed is the price you pay: gas. And that varies state to state and county to county (sometimes even just across the street). What's different about gas that they don't throw a sales tax on afterwards?

I have a theory that the only reason we have record high numbers for consumerism is also due to the record amount of consumer debt which will have to give at one point and I think it will soon leading to quantitative easing and more inflation. I think it’ll happen very soon over the next 3-6 months. But meh what do I know, roll tide baby.
