my new SoFlat came!!! Golden is the primo brand so I know it’ll be good. I don’t know yet if it’ll fit my painting temperament though.

Yes, it's like gouache in that it dries very flat and very matte, but its behavior (drying fast and not re-wetting) is absolutely acrylic. I got some of the flourescents for like ... pop art :P
