Resin is a bitchy, fussy, messy material that I've been learning all the quirks of the past three or so months. It'll bubble, stick, goop, go soggy, etc under the wrong conditions. Those flat pins I've made iterations of at least twenty times and have only just gotten good, saleable ones. It's just a matter of trial and error and learning what happens when you, say, put resin over a thin ground (it warps!) or over something paper-based not sealed up tighter than Fort Knox (it releases air days later and ruins the pin!)
The good news is I finally have some little gewgaws I can send to patrons. So, starting next year, I think, I'll start shipping to $10+. Stickers, mostly, but also pins and other sculpture as I create it.
