I think that's what gives the synopsis the meaning of "someone seeing them for the first time." It makes me anxious to wonder if Tera has "seen" the Boy yet, or if he still will.

I've been thinking of doing it for a very long time, I find it interesting that the Boy does see Tera's eyes (as we probably would irl with a mask like that) but doesn't say anything. Cause for us there's suddenly a HUMAN and a FACE behind that mask!
