Fun fact from manga chapter extras: Like Maki, Toji was bullied and looked down upon within the Zenin clan because of his lack of curse energy or technique. In the big clans, curse techniques are prized above all, especially lineal techniques like 10 shadows. When Toji was younger he was thrown into a room full of curse spirits. That is where he got his scar on his mouth from.

2023-11-10 03:35:57 +0000 UTCI love how the animators add scenes to otherwise short fights. In the manga Megumi vs. Toji was not very long. I laughed my ass off when they added the rabbits attacking Toji. Oh man and Sukuna….oh boy, you guys got a taste of his power. Fake Geto was being very very generous to Jogo when he said that he was equivalent to 8-9 fingers of strength. Let me put it this way, it’s as if a toddler was going up against Mike Tyson in his prime. I mean the guy literally fought fire with fire. He burned the cursed spirit of FIRE to death!

Just a few tidbits for potential discussion: Playful cloud is the only cursed tool that does not have its own cursed energy. It works off how strong the user is, so the stronger you are, the harder it hits. That is why Maki and Toji are so effective with it. Much like Jogo, we assumed Sukuna's cursed technique was slicing and dicing. But maybe there is another cursed technique? He seemed shocked when Sukuna used fire against him. Kusakbe is a real one, for sure. You feel that level of cursed energy coming out from the subway, you can bet your ass I'm running too. Small teaser: The animators have stated that the next episode is going to be even better, animation wise. Cannot wait. #SundayRundown
