We started about 25 minutes before sunset, the throes of golden hour. The space was filled with plants on stands, floors, and even hanging from the ceiling, all illuminated by natural light streaming through the skylights and filtered by a thicc layer of trees before hitting the wraparound windows. It was a stunning backdrop for a stunning Miss Heather. Sitting on this chic green and gold felt stool (that you will see again later), her green lingerie just happened to perfectly match with the whole scene. Heather looked stunning as always, but we took it up a notch by incorporating some of those more dynamic angles that we experimented with in Nevada City.
The sunlight bouncing off the warm yellow and orange walls inside the room adjacent to the greenhouse (behind me) added an extra glow to the shoot. To keep Heather looking good without too much warmth, I cooled down the color temperature in post, ensuring her skin tones stayed under control while maintaining the natural light’s soft ambience. Rokinon 35mm with the gold mist filter for this one, too, they've been working out to be a pretty good combo as of late.
