Charlé Jay - Shakur
Added 2025-01-17 16:00:10 +0000 UTCAfter the parlour shoot, Charlé and I went inside to this new area in the living room that Misty (the homeowner) designed. If you'll recall, there was a couch here before, I shot Fionna and Paige on it. This setup is nice tho, playful and moody and.. reddish brown haha. I am not opposed to a heavily one-sided color palette, but this is probably as far as I'll ever go.
Halfway through the shoot, she picks up a random book for a prop, I can't remember what it was, just that it was completely out of place in this corner, and (most offensively) had solid neon orange all over the cover. I dismiss the prop and grab another and its a fucking Tupac book. Charlé, for the uninitiated, is a rapper as well. Only a few singles but, like I said in a previous post, the girl is a performer.
For the lens I actually think I'm using my Canon 28mm 1.8 EF on an adapter, but I can't actually see it in the BTS (attempted action cam mode vs 360 so it was out of frame). The 28 was in my bag when I repacked it for Vegas and I'm prettty sure I wouldn't use the 50mm 1.4 FD on this look (plus, it doesn't have the characteristics of the it). I like how these came out tho. Hmmm..
I think #30 is my favorite of the bunch, she's got such a tiny waist and it really shows in this and the ones that follow.
