Alice Crow - Suburbia

I mean, I had specific plans that required the sun to be in certain places, but in the downtime her and I were able to just make shit up and I loved it. I brought this pirate-style blouse that I picked up at a second-hand that she instantly fell in love with (and took home with her for her upcoming pirate themed party lol), I figured we'd use the side of the house where the sun was reallly low in the sky but not quite sunset yet. So she grabbed a cigaweed and a lawn chair and we started shooting.
I went back and forth between the 50mm fd and the 35mm rokinon and ended up settling on the latter because I figured I'd want some full body captain morgan poses (yes, that was literally the deciding factor). I really loved punching out the colors in this one, I underexposed the photos just slightly to ensure I had all the data I needed from the sky to really push the blue.
Alice is definitely one of my fav artsy models, she knows how to muse it up on set and work with whatever random shit we come up with.
