Added 2022-02-21 18:32:25 +0000 UTCIn all simplicity, this is how I often create wobbly basses...this is a decent starting point for anyone to create jungle/dubstep style wobble.
It goes against common sense to play two bass notes at the same timeβ¦but you'll find it works!
The most musical results often happen if the notes aren't more than 3-4 semitones apart.
You can get some fairly mad tones when pushing things hard into a saturator.
Note that it HAS to be a sinewave for things to work.

A producer friend told me he started out on it, so out of curiosity I started this recent adventure to get ModEdit3 running through DOSBOX (not sure if that runs on mac). It still works. Its pretty cool. Sounds terrible. But its fun to resurrect oldschool tools on occasion. Curious if you have an old favs you might ever consider looking back at for fun
