Hello Film Warriors! It's been a long, long month, full of social upheaval, continued public health crises, and the continuing physical and mental exhaustion of quarantine. However, we must continue to challenge ourselves to learn more and more every day, if for no other reason than to stave off mental complacency.
You may have noticed that the police have been in the news a lot lately. Who are they? And why do they suck so much? We're hoping the answers to these questions can be found as we screen the groundbreaking documentary, Police Academy (1984), with you, our beloved Patrons, this weekend.
This will happen this Sunday, the 28th, at around 7pm central time.
