The Circus batch #1 (Open Post)

Hi everybody, 

this is an open post to showcase this month's release. The first batch contains a gigantic and modular circus/arena structure, scene objects and props, the circus' ticket booth and a throwing daggers attraction set.

If you are wondering, the actual 3d printable tent part of the large circus arena is still work in progress, with the tents of the circus artists. If you are into traditional style dioramas and like to use 3d prints as a complement to other materials, you can make your own large Circus Tent with thread and cloth. There are rings and metal band with space designed exactly for this reason (such as at the top part of the pillars). I think this would give a great result - and save a lot of resin - so I'm definitely going to give this a try.

With this release I took extra time to up the level of detail of the models. For the wood, for example, I used a new grain that should be a pleasure to drybrush. For this reason the files are a bit heavier (they have more detail, and so more faces!).

As always, larger modular models are sliced up and printable on small printers. The Circus-Arena structure for example is gigantic. It can host around 300 people in D&D measurements, and is modular! You can print just one wing and have it as a sport grandstand (anyone said bloodbowl?), or you can print only the C sides and make a circular colosseum-like arena, or even print multiple straight sections and make a hippodrome style structure for medieval tournaments. The possibilities are endless, and it makes a great setup for an encounter where the heroes are thrown at the center of the scene, with the eyes of the public pointed at them as they fight some unexpected enemey!
