Hi everybody,
the second part of the release is here!
These Caretaker Automata are crystal fueled jack of all trades. Their main function is that of heavy duty workers: they carry and manage goods from Skyports to the Airships and viceversa. They are also responsible for handling the crystal engines, since they are extremely fragile and dangerous once removed from their supports. Although human arcane engineers are necessary to balance the vertical equilibrium of the ship, Caretaker Automata can perform small repairs and assist in most duties thanks to their foot fingers, which are precise and fine tools. Last but not least, in case sky pirates board the airship, their massive walking gorilla hands are put to use by crushing skulls and taring libs out.
These Automata are extremely expensive because they rock at the same time iron thick armor, minute clockwork articulations and fueling crystals. They consume so much arcane power that they need one main torso crystal to have proper functioning sight and handling capabilities, but also two secondary crystals - one in each arm - to power walking strength and their massive blows.
And, that's not it!
Last month I couldn't finish the crow-viking themed miniatures, but now they are finished! August supporters and those of you who joined in September will receive them right now - it seems only fair to me.
These warriors were struck by the Crow Curse, as they attempted to wield Ravencry - an ancient greataxe said to have tremendours powers, but only for those worth of the Vjallravyn's caw. The Raven God does not give his favor lightly. A few minutes after touching the axe, these crow berserkers (or should I say krakaserkers?) changed in painfully new bodies, unable to speak if not by mimicry, and overwhelmed by a desire for flesh and eyes.
Finally, the Welcome Pack expansions (both for last month and this one) are out! Since I have updated the wood texture of the main release models, I decided to include it in the Welcome Pack carts too. Previous carts are designed to hold a complete party of players and are very large for playability: these new ones are slightly smaller and more on scale, to fit bst dioramas and farmland/town/mundane terrain.
That's it for now. Let me know what you think about these models. My personal favourite is the Caretaker Automaton that is fixing the crystal lamp, I think it's an instant diorama :)
As always, I'll be removing the links for this month's release tomorrow night. I have sent out invites to redeem the files on MMF, form where you'll be able to download them forever. If you have issues accessing the files just send me a direct message :)
Tomorrow I will also release the Welcome Pack Expansion for this month and August, with updated wood textures.
Thanks again for the support! A small preview of October's Magic Item Shop should drop tomorrow :D
I wish you happy hobby time!
