Hi everybody,
the Welcome Pack expansions (both for last month and this one) are out! Since I have updated the wood texture of the main release models, I decided to include it in the Welcome Pack carts too. Previous carts are designed to hold a complete party of players and are very large for playability: these new ones are slightly smaller and more on scale, to fit dioramas and farmland/town/mundane terrain. I hope you like them!
I suggest getting them on MMF since I am removing the links. Invites have already been sent!
Here's a very small preview of the upcoming magic items: just a glaive, but that's the quality that you can expect for all the parts of the upcoming set! A tip: you can even join these items in a slicer to customize your characters / monsters with new & different weapons!
A PDF update. I am in the process of laying out the location/adventure PDF for August and September. I love doing these PDFs since I find them really useful, even though they are not the main purpose of this page. I believe that 100% of people that support Making Tlon do so for the models, and the PDF are a (hopefully nice) addition. However, I feel like that having them accessible only to the people that support a given month means losing a lot of eyes on them, since, for example, no one can play the first Summer Murder adventure unless they supported the page on November 2021. That means a lot of potential adventures that are not run /locations that are not used, which is a pity considering the work that goes behind them.
This is why from October onward I will be realeasing the whole library of the PDFs with all the supporters every given month. More or less as MCDM is doing for Arcadia on their Patreon page (if you don't know them, check them out and if you join them say hi for me too :). The idea behind this is to spread these PDFs, very much homebrew but, I believe, with high quality content and presentation, so that more people can explore parts of Tlon, and maybe join us here. I may decide to release them for free one day, but I have to find the right platform first. This will not impact the STL side in any way: layout and art are made by some friends, and I basically write the text itself in my spare time for my campaigns, so I'd do that anyway. I hope this does not let you down: I see it as an opportunity to make our small community grow!
Now, back to the Magic Item Shop.
Thank you for the support - it is really, really appreciated. I can't say that enough :) You're awesome!
I wish you happy hobby time :D
