Poll for January

Hi everybody,

the ship release is almost done: you can see a first glimpse up in the banner. That is the version without sails and ropes, designed so that you can create your own realistic sails/ropes/flags with thread, paper and cloth. Another version of the masts and Objects will have ropes tied to the structure and furled sails, which I find are the best option for printing them in resin.

As I mentioned last month, I’ll be taking December off, which means that after the ship drops I’ll start working on January’s release. You will not be charged in December (I will be repeating this for a while :). So, with that in mind: is time to vote for January’s theme!

There is a new entry: the Necromancer Hall, another classic that was missing up to this point: nothing like a gothic looking bone filled room to stage the final fight with the Big Bad Evil Lich.

May the best location win!

The Necromancer Hall. It looks like a cathedral made of rock and bone, but it is buried deep, deep at the bottom of the dungeon. The Lich lives here, and here it crafts curses and the arcane poisons that spread the Will of the Pale King on the mundane realm. And that will is death. - Bones, necromantic contraptions and undeadly hazards. An OpenLOCK dungeon set compatible with previous releases (e.g. lab, castle, dungeon, etc…) where you can expect skulls and bones to feature prominently. Necromantic objects and props will furnish it, and I want to include traps and other dungeon shenanigans.

The Dragon’s Hoard. Gold, gold, gold! Anything shiny can be found in the hoard of a dragon. The lair was an ancient structure now in ruin, and its new denizen has gathered a hoard worthy of legends. - Piles of gold, statues and precious items. This set will include ruins: if chosen I’ll make a second poll to decide their style (elvish, dwarven, human, etc..). Since there are tons of beautiful dragons out there I don’t think I’ll include one, but what about the bones of a dragon…? Dead cattle and/or humanoid prey can also be part of this set.

Return to the Dwarven Halls. The fortress of Kheledul is under siege: only makeshift barricades and weary dwarves are left between the throne room and the greenskins. Will the heroes get there in time to save them all? - New Dwarven Halls tiles, perfectly compatible with the previous dwarven set but with different shapes and style, with stairs and other variants to expand the modular set. The focus of this set will be on the throne room (with Objects and Props) and especially on Dwarven House’s Objects and Props, more and different statues and barricades.

Hell! Scourging heat and blood-chilling wails: there is no mistaking the smell of sulfur and desperation that pollutes the air. We are in hell… - Lava rifts, jagged rocks, runic stones and devilish bone-structures: everything that you’d expect in fantasy hellish planes. With an Oblivion style tower and a portal to the lower hells!

The Blueteeth Tribe Camp. When the sun fades, the cries and laughter of the Blueteeth Camps can be heard from a great distance. Their brawling contests are as legendary as their skill in hunting, which are proven by the gargantuan corpses from which they build their homes. This fame alone is strong enough to dissuade lesser tribes from battling them. - A barbarian camp with tents and huts made from the remains of giant beats: ribcages, horns and hides. Hunting objects and props as well as the everyday life items of the barbarians are included.

The Pyramid of the Sun. Many steps lead to the Altar of the Sun where the high priest communes with the Gods. Below, in the depth of the pyramid, many treasures sacred to the Serpent, the Lotus and the Macaw are guardedby silent wardens. - A mesoamerican pyramid with playable interiors and ritual objects and props, as well as its secret treasures as well as the high priest and the wardens of the pyramids.

The Temple of Flowing Sand. A lonely temple in a valley of dead kings, resting for eternity. The sea of sand flows free between its colonnades. They say that in its deepest chamber the high priestess is still pondering the sky. - Ancient Egyptian style OpenLOCK temple with a decorated entrance, funerary objects and props, obelisks, colonnades and statues, as well as monsters to furnish it.

Al'Nab, the Oasis. Thirsty and famished travelers often end up in Al'Nab with a sigh of relief. Although its name may seem ominous - the Tusk - it is a peaceful place... as long as you stay in your tent at night. - A fantasy Persia themed set, with palm trees, a bazaar, camels and the horror of the Oasis.

The Labyrinth. A thin rope made of red silk. "If you lose this, you will be lost." They ventured between the towering rock walls of the house of Asterius, never to be seen again. - An OpenLOCK greek-style labyrinth terrain, with greek themed objects and props, scatter terrain ruins, survivors and a Minotaur! The Avrean Oracle is a good example of its style.

As always, if you have suggestions for future releases write them in the comments :)

That is everything for now. I’ll be back asap with renders and this month’s release!

Thanks for the support, and I wish you a happy hobby time!
