February Wip and Style poll results

here is the first Wip for february!
In these renders you can see some of the treasure: piles of coins scattered with precious items and the mortal remains of some careless adventurers (these models are still wip since they need test printing). Getting these coins printed should not be too hard, but you never know!
Also, a render with gold materials just for fun.
While I was sculpting the skeletal dragon I had an idea that I wanted to test out, and you can see the partial results in the third render. Rocks and debris are still needed to integrate the dragon's skull and spine with the ground, but I love the vibe. To give you an idea of scale, right now the giant sword stands 15 cm tall. Imagine a group of adventureres exploring the dungeon and finding this dragon's remains: who - or what - wielded that sword? Why is it there, still in the cracked skull? Where has the slayer ended up? Is the treasure of this gargantuan beast still there? Questions that can be a great setup for a campaign arc!
I find it to be a nice extra, and I can't wait to see what my players will think when they find it :)
More treasure, the skeletal dragon and the ruins around the hoard are also coming. I'll be posting more wips during the week.
And it is also time to close the style poll - I added up Patreon and Tribes' results to this total scores:
Norse: Tribes 7, Patreon 3 = 10
Gothic: Tribes 9, Patreon 8 = 17
Tribal/celtic: Tribes 4, Patreon 18 = 22
Greek/Roman: Tribes 4, Patreon 0 = 4
Japanese: Tribes 6, Patreon 5 = 11
Elven: Tribes 5, Patreon 4 = 9
Dwarven: Tribes 6, Patreon 16 = 22
So, Dwarven and Tribal/Celtic are even. I decided to go for the Tribal/Celtic vibe since we have the Return to the Dwarven Halls as an entry in the release poll already, and so we will probably see more Dwarven stuff in the future.

2023-01-24 03:01:39 +0000 UTCRigid body simulation in Blender with 5k+ cylinders: madness. Blender is great, but really not designed to deal with sims like that (made to get a printable mesh, so you need a lot of vertices and faces). It crashed a lot - but I like the result!

It is harder to achieve - it needs thicker bones since you can't use rotting tissue to rinforce the mini - but there are a lot of zombie dragons out there, and I never found one completely decomposed that I liked, so i'm giving it a try :)
