April Update

Sup folks! Just gonna headline that no I'm not doing any April goofs today. The first of the month just so happens to be my day where I clean the house, plan the month, and take care of all my paperwork including making a patreon post.

That being said, sorry for no update last month, my mind was busy with worry about a private family issue and by the time it started to be less of a pressing worry on me it was almost the end of the month anyways. But yeah sorry about slow progress! While art is something I do as easily as I breath most of the time, writing and design is something that's more fickle of a pipeline for me still.

Month's Goals
That all being said my goal is still to update Songs we Sing! AGAIN!

I've been fretting over getting a good way of putting locations in Wake together using some tools such as the Natures in Wanderhome, but its been tricky figuring out what I need for my own specific needs in Songs we Sing. I may take a break from considering that so I can hit the playbooks again to add some missing moves and edit some moves that I feel may not be working. I think if I had a worry about playbook moves it's that a lot are very combat focused and I want to have adventures through Wake feel more rounded around both fighting with cool powers and weapons, as well as engaging the populace of Wake in more intricate and less inherently violent ways.

Shifting into a mindset of how you deal with problems outside of combat is just hard due to how ingrained it is for me who grew up with games that encourage that sort of play.

Twitter Community
In other news I've started up a twitter community for Songs we Sing which you can find: HERE! I've not really thought too deeply about how to utilize this community but maybe I can muse about it out loud more often there!

I'm also trying to set up a newsletter for Songs we Sing using another one of Twitter's features so keep an eye out for that!
