Anyone else rewatching in preparation for the cottage ๐ฅน? Also, Ilya didnโt contact Shane for six months after they had sex for the first time bc it wasnโt just sex, they made love. That horrified Ilya bc he has an abandonment complex and thinks heโs unlovable bc of his family/thinks Shane will leave him once Ilya shows his true feelings. But like Ilya said in ep 5, itโs always been Shane and no one else for him. In the book he actually freaks out in the bathroom & shows up last minute before the present the award from ep 2 bc of all this.
