Jaclyn/Kate/Laurie are hilarious because it's like visiting old friends when you have nothing in common anymore. Jaclyn is the Hollywood actress, Laurie is the New York career attorney, and Kate is the country club wife down in Texas. The Mom (Victoria) is always Xanned out on Lorazepam and Parker Posey plays it so well and hilariously. It's also funny that Carrie Coon (Laurie) is meant to be the "dumpy" and "homely" friend when she is fucking hot and has a legion of lesbians and gays thirsting over her.
