My Secret Tattoo 🐈🐱

A fresh shot right after I got it done in Barcelona! 💜

This tattoo has a really deep meaning to me. Not all of my tattoos do, but this one definitely has the longest story. It's not only my travel companion and guardian, but so much more. You probably know this cat as Jiji, I call her Kiikii. She's with me since January when I was on a wonderful travel adventure. You rarely see her, sometimes sneaky if you take my hair softly out of my face. Kiikii protects me on my travels, keeps the fear away from me. Reminds me how far I came with my travel anxiety and how much better it got overall.

But it goes deeper. Why named Kiikii? I used to have a very good friend from London, I loved her deeply. More than you can imagine. We first met in Berlin, her beautiful blue her has enchanted me. And the red fire in her heart flaming with passion. I visited her in London a couple of times, then later we went to NYC together. You can imagine how much of a big step it was for me. I was wearing and still wear the leather jacket which I also have on in this picture. She secretly put a little badge with a black cat and a little note in its pocket that says " My name is Kiikii and I will look after you and love your forever. Let's travel the world together baby... I believe in you." This jacket, I take it with me everywhere I travel to. Together with the badge on it and the letter still in the pocket. It has so much history in it.

That girl and me, we aren't friends anymore. The one who now has fire red hair, but her soul blue and cold. Selfish priorities damaged the love and friendship. I miss her. I'm not crying over it tho. And this tattoo is also not dedicated to her. But a reminder that people come and go. And memories stay forever. On the train which you ride through all your life. 💜
