I'm excited to share the latest changes to zurg arriving on the next nightly release. This release focuses on enhancing performance, adding new features, and fixing some pesky bugs. Here's what's new:

✨ New Features + 🚀 Improvements

• Multiple User Info shown for all download tokens

  • Now you can manage multiple RealDebrid accounts seamlessly from a single interface.

• Audio Support

  • zurg now supports popular audio formats like .mp3, .m4a, and .flac for a wider range of media files. No need for RAR extraction because now, RD natively supports them. If you download an album with jpg or txt, you still need zurg's RAR extraction but it will now download those audio files as if they were videos.

• Increased Torrent API Rate Limit

  • Boosted the default torrent API rate limit from 60 to 75 requests per minute based on the recent benchmark testing I did

• Enhanced Caching Performance

  • Download links are now cached for up to 1 day, ensuring you always have access to fresh and valid links. Downloads are no longer cached if they are older than 1 day, optimizing memory usage and performance.

• Download Verification Optimization

  • Removed the unnecessary verification step for download links, speeding up the download process without compromising security.

• Optimized Error Handling

  • Improved error parsing and backoff strategies to handle issues more gracefully.

• Thread-Safe Host Selection & IPv6 Support

  • Implemented a thread-safe method for selecting new hosts and reimplemented IPv6 support with a fallback to IPv4 if the proxy doesn’t support IPv6. This ensures better network compatibility and stability.

• Favicon

  • Docker: Check the new favicon

  • Binary: You can add your own favicon.ico but placing it on the same location as zurg

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Resolved RAR extraction issues, especially for broken extracted files.
