Unscheduled video

About the "6th generation Chinese" fighter will be video. It means the KRUG will one video later.

It will be a "bullet point explanation of fighters since WW II" to show the generation classification and its limits. Then based on that the 'rules' will be applied to find out what could be called even 6th generation fighter. I have started the translation.

Originally I planned without early access but the first images have been captured so long time ago that this is not so hot topic anymore, but I guess it is still worth a video. Especially that so far NOBODY ever had defined what REALLY should mean a 6th gen plane.

The video will have extra content.

Edit no.1: Translation of the script is done.

Edit no.2: Grammar check is done.

Comments

Essentially in the late '70s or late '80s. The line is blurred. The "next generation" term was used even in a book of 1980 but without adding a number. The wide export of the F-16/15/18 and the ATF program made it popular this classification.

"6th Generation" will kind of be in the air until there are couple countries and various designs. I would appreciate if you mentioned when did this "generation" definitions started. Take care.
