The WW1 Trench Map Assets

Build endless World War 1 trenches with this collection of map assets and textures.

I set out at the beginning of this month with the goal of studying my own work and gathering together everything I liked about it in order to bring my very best into the New Year. You see, I experiment quite a bit with my tools and methods, but experimentation is useless unless it's reviewed!

These trenches are the result of that study. I scoped in on my best techniques in line art, hatching, rendering, and coloring, and I think I can call this my best asset pack, artistically anyway. From here I'm excited to keep on experimenting, reviewing, and growing.

I've received a lot of requests from commenters over the years for World War 1 maps and assets. I hope this finds all of you! That said, if you are more like me, and play more fantasy than anything else, I hope that you will still enjoy the many bridges, textures, and other goodies inside.

(I also rather like the idea of dwarves deploying trenches in their warfare – you are welcome to use that idea!)
