Narrative Point of View

Hello, I'm thinking about the layout and writing of the new comic. I was wondering the following question: do you prefer when the story is told from the perspective of a character or rather indirectly:

1- The narrator's status: First-person narrative - I

The narrator takes part in the story he tells as a character (narrator-character). He can be a mere witness to the events (secondary character) or the hero of his own story. He expresses himself in the first person in both cases. This narrative mode is limited to the subjectivity of the narrator, but it allows access to his deep thoughts, which facilitates the process of reader's adhesion and identification.

This is a bit like Athena for example

2-Third-person narrator: Omniscient Point of View

The omniscient narrator knows everything about the reality they describe: they know the thoughts, feelings, opinions of all the characters as well as the relationships that link them to each other, their past, and their future. The narrator has the ability, within the framework of the action, to move in space and time. Therefore, the reader knows more than the characters.
