Hi all,
Please help Jack... do you think Amber needs a new / different haircut ? Which one do you prefer ?

The author had argued that a woman’s hair was not just a matter of beauty but also a symbolic point of control. To hold a woman by her hair was, in a sense, to seize both her image and her power, as if the hand guiding her head also governed her entire body. A haircut, the book suggested, was an extension of identity: to dictate its length, shape, or color was to impose one’s will, to influence the way she presented herself to the world, and therefore the way she perceived herself. The idea—brutal yet fascinating—was that mastering her hair meant establishing a subtle kind of dominance, more intimate than brute force: a grip over her appearance, her aura, and even her behavior.
