Brooks
Added 2020-05-19 21:05:52 +0000 UTCit's him! another one of my characters from my (to-be-made-in-the-future) comic, brooks! so i decided to do something fun for these since i'll be drawing my characters a bit more than i'd usually get to thanks to the monthly polls.
i wanted to write down some lore-related notes or maybe even bios about who the illustration is featuring, and perhaps even tease more of the narrative that way- who knows! gonna be feeling it out and see how it goes down.
so anyway, on brooks;
"... that blasted wolverine- crowned with the title 'duke of thorns'. how very fitting. he's one of the head officials in charge of handling the merchant ports located all around of ambermoor, all the way down to the south woods.
i've had a run in or two with him before. then again, hard not to do especially with the name 'b. brooks' plastered on every crate from the harbour all the way to the mainlands.
he's pretty honest... for a bureaucrat anyway. he's usually decent to talk to, but the sarcasm that slides off his tongue constantly almost makes me wish i'd stuck a dagger down his throat. almost.
i'm sure he's got a much more interesting life behind that 'merchant's son' facade- or rather, i know he does. i'm sure salt would agree, ha ha. though that's a story for another time.

that's all for now. hope the lore bits read as interesting as the character is to look at! gonna go ahead and get the next poll ready so i won't be late for it this time. probably.
