That's honestly really fascinating 😆 I'm both really interested to learn more about other dialects, but at the same time, I'm going to be super self conscious about how I write things from now on 😅😅😅

Well I mean, "you need changed first" would have sounded just as weird to me, because that's not how sentences work in most places. It's most commonly referred to as the "needs washed" regionalism https://www.quickanddirtytips.com/articles/needs-washed/

I can see that. I was also trying to be a little cheeky, playing off the phrase "you need changed first" (like a diaper change) but switching "changed" to "sanitized" as a bit of sci-fi lingo or something lol In real life, if I was going to sanitize something, I'd most likely say "you need to be sanitized" or "I'm going to sanitize that"

Upon further research, it turns out that the way you wrote it is actually just a dialect I wasn't familiar with. In most places it would be written as either "You need sanitizing first!" or "You need to be sanitized first!", but in some places (as far as I can tell, mostly around the Pittsburgh region, but apparently it's also common in Scotland and Northern Ireland?), the "need sanitized" version would be used. So it's actually fine as-is, even if it sounds weird to me, lol.

What would you suggest? 2) you're totally right here 😅 Jamie's room would probably have a lot of stuff everywhere. Including drawings hung up all over the walls and things like that. Trinkets from his travels and whatnot. I think I neglected to add little details like that due to time constraints, but id love to go back and add some little extra things like that 😄 Good call!

It's nice to see Jamie again, I always liked the combo of diapers and space suits :3 I do have two bits of feedback, though: 1. Is the "You need sanitized first!" in the last panel a typo, or intentional (like, it's showing that the AI's language processor is a bit off or something)? 2. I feel like the room he's sleeping in is a bit big and empty, especially for a spaceship. Unless he's moved his crib into the cargo hold or something, it's strange for it to be that size with absolutely nothing else in it. Overall, though, I'm very much looking forward to the next pages :D

Love the start., Though I would have thought that Jamie would have gotten a bigger crib/bed by now.

This comic will be a short little romp that follows Jamie on a typical day. Little hints of backstory sprinkled around. But Jamie himself doesn't really know much about his past. Just that he grew up on this ship as a space explorer, tasked with finding and documenting flora and fauna on far away worlds. His bot PJ has been his caretaker since forever. The other big thing of note: the ships education system got damaged at some point and lessons past the preschool stage were lost. So Jamie, socially, has remained very childish. Though a combination of PJ and his adventures have worked to mature him somewhat...
