Weekly Report #1 (4/03/2024)

Elloo everyone!! Right off the bat I want to apologize for being this quiet since announcing the poll winner. School with midterms and my struggles to keep myself focused because of my ADHD have been hindering both how fast I want to be working on the avatar fixes, and keeping everyone informed over what I've been working on.

SO. To force myself to keep you all informed and not in the dark, every monday I will be making weekly reports for everything I've been working on. Including non-VRC projects.

Avatar Revisions

I was hoping to have these fixes done quickly by now, but I both under-estimate the amount of work it is to transfer controls to VRCFury, and school kept me distracted from doing quick work. I'm currently figuring everything out with Gardevoir and hopefully the other avatars would flow much faster. As of now, most of the work for the menu control is finished. I'm also adding NEW controls to the avatar, inspired by the work of the Jenny avatar. Here’s what I have planned.

• Eyes and Mouth gestures separated to each hand.
  
• Gestures Override.
  
• SPS.
  
• Brightness and Saturation control for eyes and body.
  
• Separate texture toggle between the body itself and clothes: meaning like with the Jenny Avatar, there would be different textures for the clothes you can toggle separately from the body texture toggle. So you could do combos like combining the Shiny Body Texture, with the Black MajinVoir dress.
  

To save room on memory so I could add these controls, there are some compromises I'm making.

• Removing the “Open Slot” button.
  
• Removing the spank toggle: I might bring it back if there is room.
  
• Combining body sliders into one slider, similar to other avatars. Like one wheel labeled “Butt Size - Hips Size”.

Renders!

I have been wanting to make more lewd renders for a long time now, my only issue for a while is a lack of time, ideas and being able to remember that idea. I already have some ideas for renders of a Gardevoir and a Salazzle that I would love to work on and possibly post here soon. The only major thing I could announce right now for render is that I plan on making a raffle for anyone to make a request for renders, possibly every month. I can give more information about that once I plan it through and when school work is calming down.

Modeling Project

I have been wanting to make full models myself for a very long time now. All of my modeling work has been for scenes, props and A LOT of clothes. So I'm finally taking my chance at modeling a full character. Whenever I could focus on it, I would work on making a Hatterene model. As of right now it is VERY rough, but I plan on fixing it and making it the best of my ability. If I think it's good enough after finishing, I would post it on Gumroad, and also another choice for a Monthly Claim. I would love to focus a lot of time on it, but I would rather keep it as a side project and keep Avatar Reworks my highest priority.

Finally I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for continuing to support me financially even with how slow and quiet I have been. I have been struggling to find a job and your support has been keeping my head above the water and I cannot thank you all enough.
