So far I'm only half an hour in, but I'm convinced the writer is a female trying to pose as a male, and not an actual male. It's a woman upset at what's going on in the community and trying to act like a scorned boyfriend to intimidate the school official into stopping his affairs. Edit: Finished the episode, still think the initial letters were 1000% a woman, probably one of school man's lovers who became jealous or maybe even someone he rejected. There's def a conspiracy going on tho and i agree that later letters are multiple people. Also, I love Oompy as the new host, his Willy Wonka energy is perfect for the show. I still can't believe they fired Charlie over his disparaging remarks regarding the voynich manuscript

Realizing what it’s like to finally have all three hosts put equal effort into the conversation is like finally entering into a healthy relationship after breaking up with an abusive partner. I’m sad we didn’t get rule of two of or Jeffery Epstein this episode, I’ll miss Charlie but the show is still as fire as ever, if not better. This is so fucking cool, I’ve lived in circleville my whole life up until recently when I moved to a bigger city with my girlfriend. Circleville is the tiniest most forgettable little town, but it does have its merits. Every year in October there is a huge fair in the middle of downtown called “the pumpkin show”. Over a million people come to attend it every year from all over the states, and it’s simply a show about pumpkins and who can grow the largest pumpkin. It’s the biggest pumpkin based fair in the world and I would heavily encourage you look at some of the winning pumpkins because they are fucking huge. And obviously it’s a fair so they have rides and fair food which is pretty typical nothing too special but I’ve gone every year since I was a child. I also just recently found out about the circleville letters so it’s not something that is talked about that much which is cool imo
