The pre workout debate was interesting. The itchy feeling is from the beta alanin in tge pre it helps against muscle soreness and is not dangerous at all. C4 is generally considered a weak pre because it got nothing other then just caffeine. I used to also double scoop my pre but since I changed it I don't do that anymore. My current pre got dmaa in it which is kind of a amphetamine. Gives me crazy anxiety when I take it after the workout but while working out it's boosting me to another level.

Hey guys, I'm going to explain abit on the air pistol situation. 1. Yes the guns can kill and are loaded with lead pellets. 2. The goofy cylinder you see with the gauge is actually used to store compressed air to use to shoot the bullets. 3. The left hand in the pocket is to "lock" your left side of the body to minimize movement. 4. The arched-back guy is bcs he's trying to take a stance where your elbow in on your hip. In my opinion, the gear in this sport is to minimize any minor differences every time you shoot, it's not necessary, but in the Olympics where the difference between Gold and Silver can be less than a point, I would gear up to minimize interference as well. It is not an exaggeration to say that the whole point is to train until you can close your eyes and hit the bulls-eye. You can literally train your muscle memory to hit the bulls-eye. The highest I have ever shot when I was still trying was only 560 (60 shots I was lucky and on form that day. I normally average 530-540ish) so what they have achieved is INSANELY impressive.

To Jackson’s point about the Turkish guy, especially in pistol shooting, the equipment is all secondary to the skill itself. Precision shooting sports are often described as 10% physical 90% mental and it’s absolutely true. The equipment only serves to assist but a good shooter can take the worst equipment or none at all and dominate. The “fruity” looking guy Kaya described is shooting in proper standing position, his back is just arched more than most people. The point is you want to use your bone structure to support the rifle and you do that by flaring out your hip, locking it in place, and resting your elbow on top.

A couple notes about the shooting though. There is a sport I compete in that has a few variations but I’d call “action pistol” where you run through a course and have to shoot targets in a “realistic” scenario which Keanu Reeves also participated in to train for John Wick 2. They also have a cowboy variety using cowboy guns like revolvers and lever actions. Regarding the Olympic shooting, I can’t see the video feed but I’m guessing the pressure gauge on the pistol is for the CO2 and they’re shooting an air pistol that uses compressed CO2 to launch a .177 pellet. I’m not 100% sure but that’s what I used. As for the “assassin style” where he shoots with both eyes open, yes that’s used in military/law enforcement for peripheral vision because you want to see any other enemies that could attack you. In Olympic precision shooting sports, people also generally shoot with both eyes open because you want to get rid of any kind of tension and straining so you can be perfectly relaxed and make one perfect shot. Most people achieve this by having a blinder that covers their non-dominant eye. The Turkish guy is able to control his non-dominant eye enough that he can do it without a blinder. This does give credibility to the law enforcement/military argument because most competitive shooters don’t learn that and use a blinder. Although this could be trained by anyone as it’s a good habit and something I practice personally.

It’s great for pumps, but it isn’t great if you drink it and don’t actually work out and utilize it. Most companies offer a version of their pre workout with or without beta-alanine
