This includes, but is not limited to, vigilante behaviors, such as restraining or assaulting individuals, or depicting a staged meet-up to accuse an identifiable individual of egregious misconduct with a minor without the presence of law enforcement. Now, we believe this is ridiculous because Chris Hansen conducts the sting operations with law enforcement and he's not a vigilante. Furthermore, we're not the one's conducting the sting. We're reporting and discussing a publically known and convicted predator 20 years after the law enforcement assisted sting operation. It's honestly incredible to me that this has been dinged by their policy team. I totally get demonetisation but a guidelines strike puts the channel at risk and was totally unwarranted. Frustrating as hell. -J

2024-09-14 13:27:14 +0000 UTCLatest episode of Criminally Stupid was hit with a community strike warning for "harassment and bullying". We appealed and YouTube upheld the removal. We're uploading the video to Patreon as a public video and it's still available on Spotify and audio platforms right now. Pretty unhappy with the decision as we're just commentating and discussing a publicly available television series from the 2000s about a convicted predator done in cooperation with law enforcement and we didn't dox or incite harassment but it is what it is.
