Reel Boys #07 - Moana 2

Your assumptions about Mufasa are correct. SPOILERS (although it’s predictable and doesn’t really matter) Spare yourself and don’t see it. There’s only one catchy song, the story drags on way longer than it needs to, the plot doesn’t make sense with the original movie, scar just flip flops between liking and hating Mufasa within two seconds, and at the end scar betrays Mufasa, but then at the last minute saves his life, except we all know his heroic moment means nothing cause he’s a villain again in the next movie. They recreate the scene from the Lion king where scar throws Mufasa off the cliff THREE TIMES in the movie. There’s so much more shit but worst and most offensive of all - it’s a stupid back and forth plot where the whole movie is the monkey telling Simba,s daughter the story of Mufasa, so they stop the story every 20 fucking minutes and give us five minutes of nothing of the monkey and the daughter just talking in a cave. Literally probably added an extra half hour of runtime that was completely worthless. My rant is now over.
