Great episode. I enjoyed the banter between y'all. Also, did not know about that reddit post at all yet. Very interesting to see a cold case potentially actually be solved years later like that.

2025-05-28 20:05:52 +0000 UTCSo a .22 is a very small round but you are absolutely incorrect about needing to be point blank to do damage with one. It's not gonna blow you apart like a larger round but it's still a projectile moving at a high velocity. They can even at times do more damage by ricocheting off of bone rather than shattering them and I believe there have been cases where a .22 round has bounced around inside of skulls doing even further damage to brains. The six year gap is definitely possible to be him. One detail about serial killers is that they often have a cooling off period between murder sprees that can last a few months to several years
