I had a sinking feeling the killer is a US service member. The ancestors, sand, the lack of records to match evidence with, and the clothing from Korea. The service member couldβve purchased those clothes while in port. I donβt think it was a child of an American service member. The US military doesnβt have a good reputation in Japan sad to say. My husband was stationed in Atsugi and Yokosuka for 4.5 years. He left Japan before the US put everyone on strict restrictions.
