What he meant to say was, in a vacuum everything falls at the same rate, but since a fat person would be much more heavy than it has surface area (surface area being a fraction of volume) they'd fall much faster than a normal weight person off a building. On earth, in normal conditions, nothing falls at the same speed because air is a HUGE factor, you'd have to be on the moon or something to notice the "same speed falling" effect
