"How did you come about this sensitive information?" I asked as I sat down, motioning for him to do the same.

Malfoy looked surprised at the gesture. His expression remained impassive, but his mana did a double-take at the unexpected opening for an expanded conversation. He looked at his companions for a moment, likely collecting strength from their numbers, before he motioned at them to take a seat, and then he sat in front of me. 

The rest of his group moved at the same time, with Crabbe and Goyle sitting next to Malfoy out of habit, which made Pansy stare at them for a moment before she blinked and slid down onto the seat next to me. Considering we were sitting in front of Malfoy, she maintained her distance, a healthy enough separation, yet Malfoy's emotions were tinged with annoyance, jealousy, and arousal. 

'At least the curse seems to be in effect. I wonder what he sees in those dreams of his. Maybe I'll know when he shares them with Pansy.' "I'm assuming that the French and the Germans were not the only ones interested in something?" I asked, trying to fish for more information.

"Yeah, the American Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Chinese Institute of Higher Magic, Kamar-Taj, the famous Japanese Shinobi academy, Konoha, the Australian Institute of Magical Contunity, Nexus. And also various famous institutes from South Africa, Brazil, India, and various other magical communities. They all applied for the second-year exchange program, or the equivalent student age group. Father reasoned that there must be some important prophecy that was triggered by someone in our year, likely Potter with his ridiculous luck, and its ripples are strong enough that most of the geo-political magical community is springing into action." the blond finish his small triade, his emotions fluctuating between annoyed and curious at appropriate moments with just a tad bit of jealousy when he mentioned Harry.

'He doesn't seem to be lying, or the only other explanation is that he has become so good at controlling his emotions that he is able to manipulate his own emotions, or maybe he has been fed wrong information.' I concluded, anyway, I had no intention of having a 6-year-long beef with the guy, so dropping this right now seemed appropriate. Plus, maybe I would get something out of it.

"Fine, we can call a truce if you tell me which school or schools got their request approved by the Ministry," I asked.

"Ilvermorny and Konoha, both of them managed to get the approval just two days ago, they would likely arrive at Hogwarts around Halloween." He replied as a relieved expression appeared on his face, which he quickly hid behind a strained smile. He then stood up, followed by the two idiots, "I'll see you around, Black." With a final nod, he flicked his chin toward Pansy, who stood up and followed him, only after throwing a final wink in my direction.

'Ilvermorny and Konoha, huh?' I thought, my mind focusing more on the second name. Unless the name was simply a coincidence, the next year is going to be a bit more interesting.
