2021-07-22 18:01:20 +0000 UTCI still miss that whole “take a max of 20 Wolf Guard and field them as either Pack Leaders or their own Packs”. Mainly because the fact I can’t put an assault-cannon armed WGPL in with my twin plasma gun Grey Hunters anymore makes me sad. And man, I’d somehow forgotten how light that Codex was for characters. Especially odd given how they wanted you to run the army as more a bunch of heroes with their own retinues. (Hobby nugget - my own Wolves to this day feature lots, and lots, and lots of Bitz from that upgrade sprue. It was just so useful, and a sign of where things would eventually go…)
