Codex Compliant Preview!

For context we're covering issue 50 of White Dwarf from 1984.

Sorry I thought I'd responded to this, so please forgive my late reply. The short answer is that whilst we would never say ever about covering a particular topic, the novels are something we generally stick away from discussing in-depth just due to the time it would take to do properly (it would, after all, involve reading several novels in a short space to time). Again I would never say never since the Watson novels are a very influential and bizarre bit of 40k's history, but it's not something we'd be able to commit to in the foreseeable future, I'm afraid.

Because if so could we get a "Still cannon and the dumb of Ian Watson" and a follow up about CS Goto and other poor Black Library writers? e.g. per Lexicaum https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Inwit In Space Marine Inwit is listed as an Imperial fist recuriting world. I think that might be the first time it was mentioned though I don't have the resources you all do with old source material. Do I think Ian Watson was smart enough to know in 1993 that Inuit was a better term to use than Eskimo? Hell no I think he had a really good Thesaurus. But I think it would tie in to your original weird and wacky things about Rogue Trader. Heck even a look at the early 40K books to see what holds true now vs then might be fun too.
