New Video!

Sometimes you set out to make a video finding out if a thing is true or not and it spirals a bit. This video is what happens when Wib is left unsupervised.

As ever, please let us know if you spot any mistakes, and please enjoy this cry for help.

A new Codex Compliant is also in production, should hopefully also be done by the end of the month.

Thanks for the interesting look. Besides everything else, the phrase is waaay too long for a warcry. By the time you´re done, half the battle is over. Real warcries were short, a few words or just one ("Deus lo vult" being on the long side already).

Well made video, appreciate your in-depth research into the subject. Also, generative AI sucks!

Let's just say that RWBY, much like 40k, is rife with crossover despite there being absolutely no good reason or particular sense in either being so. Fans just sometimes like two things a lot, I guess.

Freyja Erlingsdóttir

Absolutely beautiful.

Just watch the Hbomberguy vid on Rwby, it's much more entertaining.

Oh man. You know... This is almost one to one similar to a FUN thing Remleiz and I ran into back in 2017... The Lexicanum, often known for being far more rigorous regarding sources, had an unsourced claim about Nurgle being the oldest Chaos God. It was at the very top of the page, and had been for almost 6 years at that point. And the claim was assumed correct by everyone, to the point where even the video game adaption of Battlefleet Gothic from 2016 said that Nurgle was the oldest! In 2012, some guy added this to the Lexicanum page without a source; "Nurgle is one of the four major Ruinous Powers. He is the Oldest of four Gods of Chaos, most probably becouse he is the God of Death and Decay and those two have been with us from the begining." Whilst the syntax and grammar was improved, that stuck all the way 'til 2017. Realising something was off, we looked through all manner of books talking about Nurgle from before 2012, from Liber Chaotica to all Chaos Demon Codexes to the Lost and the Damned... But, as it turns out, the Lost and the Damned is ACTUALLY explicit about Nurgle being the THIRD to come about. So, this sourceless claim that had been taken for granted to a point where even an officially licensed video game assumed it true? LIES. DECEIT. FANON. And so, we created a Lexicanum account and changed it, with an actual source. No source regarding Nurgle being the oldest has cropped up since (ignoring the BFG game I guess...)

I tried to a video about the history and development of the PARCan - figuring the instrument is just a PAR lamp in a can, how hard can it be? The resulting video is half an hour long and I cut out about another twenty minutes of false starts and interesting diversions. It also involved picking apart several things that were assumed true with no supporting evidence.

The fact that a phrase so well known has the origins of "some dingus made it up almost 20 years ago" is kind of insane. But, also feels weirdly on brand for this channel.
