Kuma, once a king who gave everything away for his people, ended up carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Even after becoming a Pacifista and losing his freedom, the one thing that remained untouched was his love for Bonney. She was his reason, his anchor, the one spark of humanity he never let go.

That’s why I see their relationship as one of the purest in One Piece. This diorama is my interpretation of that moment in their lives, and working on it felt special, almost heavier than usual.

This is a tribute to that love, to a father’s final wish for his daughter to live free. And now, we get to honor it together. 🫶🏼
