2024-01-03 01:50:17 +0000 UTCI was salty at first too but I still think about the ending to this day. I always felt that regardless if Tony got killed there or not it didnโt matter, it was all over and Tony was on a one way track to one of the two endings for a guy like himโฆ.

2024-01-03 01:42:12 +0000 UTCAnd on a final note, I just wanted to say that killing Tony Soprano would have been the 'easy' way to end it (even though Tony is too big of a character to end like that), as it might have been for Dr. Melfi to tell Tony about the rape, for example, or some situations that other shows would have used to kind of 'speculate', but that does not happen in this show, and I like it.

I was pissed off! ๐คฃ This final controversial scene is still talked about today! Many online conspiracy theories were brought up afterwards about what happened to Tony during that fade to black. But the biggest hint is remember what Bobby said to Tony in the boat about getting wack ? Bobby said "You probably don't even hear it when it happens!" ๐ Fade to black then silence! โฐ๏ธ

I definitely felt the same at first, I guess this show isn't as much about the mob as it is about the American suburban middle class life and how depressing it all can be, especially to people like Tony who are selfish and incapable of empathy, it just happens to be about someone in the mob
